The Marts & Crafts Gazette
How to get the most from Marts & Crafts
The short version: start with the tools below. They do the weekly work of selling at fairs, and the Crafters Club gives you all of them. Its loyalty rewards grow the longer you’ve been a member, so the sooner you start, the better.
The tools you use every week
- Booth checkout every fair day (it’s free for one fair day a month)
- As many pieces and posts as you like (a free account keeps 12 pieces and writes 3 posts a month)
- Your own logo on your Print Shop signs and cards, and product videos that end on your shop
- Calls for makers the day they’re posted (free accounts hear once a week)
- Your Market Journal and sales ledger, with your fairs ranked by what a day there netted
- Your Shop Dashboard and Who’s noticing: views, followers, your top fans and what sold
- All 8 flyer looks for your calls and your fairs (Classic stays free)
- My social posts: four posts ready for every fair you’re doing, and this week’s posts every Monday
- Get ready: the weather for the day, and what ran out last time
- Calendar sync, and Post everywhere to all your social pages at once
Everyday tools for less
- Half price on AI photo tools
- 100 helper questions a month instead of 10
- 10 minutes a month of calls with Marty, the voice helper, then 30 credits a minute
- The Attending fair kit: a post image, a Story and the words for every fair you attend
- Supplies: where members buy materials and the sales they spot, town by town
- Deals sent to you from supply stores, and journal keepsakes in the Print Shop
- A tax-time report: your year’s sales, booth fees, miles, materials and the sales tax Booth checkout collected, added up to print or download
Let the right fairs find you: Mart Match
Mart Match comes with the Crafters Club. Tell it what you sell, the kinds of events you like, the most you’ll pay for a booth, the days you work and how far you’ll go. Every new call for vendors that fits you rings your bell, even ones posted far beyond their own reach, and your matches wait for you in one list. The list of calls on Makers Wanted stays free, and so do alerts for calls near you: in the Club the day a call is posted, and on a free account in a weekly roundup on Mondays.
Why joining early matters
Loyalty is worth more every year
Each month in the Crafters Club earns more medal points the longer you stay: 100 a month in your first year, 150 in your second and 200 after that. Members earn double points on everything they do in the app. A year in brings the Loyal medal; two years adds a free month.
You get seen first
Members come first in the Boosted strip and on a fair’s list of who’s going, wear a Crafters Club badge on their shop page, pay member prices on boosts and spotlights, and rotate through the featured makers in the Window shop.
A simple plan
- Set up Mart Match so the calls for vendors that fit you come to you.
- Set up your shop, add your creations, and make your profile public.
- Share your link and hand out your QR card at every fair.
- Add your fairs to My planner (they show on your page under Find me at, and your followers hear about each one) and post from Promote a fair before each one. In the Crafters Club, My social posts has four posts ready for each fair, each on its day.
- Make a free video of your crafts for each fair and post it as a Reel, a Story or a TikTok.
- Set your town and turn on notifications. You’ll hear about new fairs near you, fairs near you taking vendors, and deadlines for fairs you saved.
- Know a town, county or tourism calendar that lists fairs near you? Add it at the bottom ofAdd a Craft Fair, and its craft fairs show up on the Fair map every night.
- Done a fair, or talked to its organizer? Add what you know under For vendors on its page: booths and prices, setup, tent and electricity, parking, the rain plan and the crowd. The next maker can decide in a minute.
- The week of a fair, open Get ready: what to make, your packing list to tick off as you load the car, and, in the Crafters Club, the weather for the day and what ran out last time.
- On fair day, open Booth checkout. Tap “I’m here today” so the people who follow you know where to find you, and ring up each sale. It’s free for one fair day a month; in the Crafters Club it’s every fair day, and you close the day to keep it in your Journal.
Share & earn
Paying members earn 50% of what every paying member they bring in pays, for as long as that member keeps paying. A payment counts 30 days after the month it pays for begins, and never once it’s refunded. You earn only on the months you’re a paying member yourself. One level only: you earn on the people you bring in, not on the people they bring in.
The Crafters Club is $25 a month or $250 a year. Founding members pay $15 a month for life, after a free month to try it. See the Club
